This hilarious spoof in the best Agatha Christie tradition is set in a country manor house in the 1930s with an assembled cast of characters including the butler, the English Colonel, a shady French art dealer, the bumbling police inspector and a well-meaning local sleuth who seems to attract murder wherever she goes. All are caught up in the antics which follow a mysterious death. The first appearance for WCDS of new members Julian Hoad and Justin Curtis as the Inspector and Constable Thomkins.
Three plays all taking place in the same suite at the Plaza Hotel, New York some time in the 1970s. Each act has a different feel, the whole play combining comedy, pathos, seduction and outright slapstick.
