The dramatic Easter story put into a courtroom setting: the action occurs between Good Friday and Easter Sunday. The Gardener is on trial charged with removing the body of Christ from the tomb after crucificion.
Several witnesses are called and each contributes evidence for the defense or the prosecution. It reaches a climax when Mary Magdalene steps down from the stand and reenacts her meeting with the risen Jesus in the garden.
This was a fascinating, well written and well constructed play which received high praise from our members.
